What we offer
We offer support to parents of families with children in Havukoski. Free activities are organised regularly throughout the year. Every family is welcome to take part in their own way.
Pikkuhelppi
We provide childcare help at your home or in your yard. A childminder can play and spend time outdoors with your children while you rest or run errands. With our staff member you can talk about things like coping and raising children.

Meidän luokka
For families at Kytöpuiston koulu about once a month. In Meidän luokka you get to know the parents and family members of your child’s classmates. At the meetings we chat, do crafts, play, celebrate, go on outings and have an evening snack together.

Tukea kiusaamistilanteisiin
Is your child being bullied, or is your child bullying others? Sometimes it is important that someone listens and helps — especially if you are already worn out. We offer a staff member specialised in parenting support, with whom you can talk in confidence and explore different options for your family’s situation.

Refresh-a-mama – gentle moments of refreshment for mothers
Gentle exercise and relaxation, a shared snack, and conversation about parenting and everyday family life. We arrange childcare for the duration of the session. Young people can join their mother for the exercise session if they wish. The activity is suitable for everyone and is planned together with mothers in Havukoski. Participation is free of charge.

Vanhempien ryhmä
The group offers parents in Havukoski a chance to talk about parenting-related topics, share experiences and get peer support. In the group you can also practise and strengthen your Finnish language skills in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. We speak Finnish in the group, and everyone is warmly welcome regardless of skill level. Childcare is arranged and light refreshments are also available.

Who can join?
Our activities are open to all families in Havukoski. You don’t need to have taken part in the programme before — new faces are always welcome.
