Support and activities for older people
Would you like some company or help with everyday tasks? We offer older people support at home and activities outside the home. When needed, we can also guide you to the services you require.
What we offer
Do you feel lonely, or would you like to talk about your life and share your worries in confidence with a member of staff? Together we can look for solutions and find support for your everyday life.
Etsivä vanhustyö
Are you looking for new relationships or meaningful things to do? With an outreach worker you can share your worries and think through possible solutions together. You will be encouraged to pursue your wishes, try new things and take part in activities outside the home. We always agree the plan and the goals together with you, based on what you want.

Ystäväpiiri-ryhmä

Pilke-porukka
Pilke is peer-supported, guided group activity for people over 60 who have, or have had, problems with substance use. You can join the group without any requirement of sobriety, but no intoxicants are used in the group. Pilke-porukka offers support and help for everyday life, something to fill the day, friendship and things to do. Meetings begin with breakfast and a round of catching up, and the rest of the activities are planned together.
- Wednesdays, Koivukylän asukastila, Hakopolku 2

Naapurustotoiminta
Would you like to help develop neighbourhood activities in your own housing company? The activity is organised by residents themselves, and its aim is to strengthen a sense of community, ease loneliness and bring neighbours together — for example coffee mornings, walks or other things planned together. We especially hope to welcome people over 65 living at home, but all residents of the building are welcome.
- Meetings as agreed, weekly or less often
